Reed Specialist Recruitment in Aberdeen is seeking a Project Coordinator / Freight Forwarder to oversee end-to-end domestic and international shipments across air, sea, and road. You will coordinate with customers, suppliers, freight partners, customs authorities, and internal teams to deliver logistics solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, project coordination, or supply chain operations.
• Understanding of international freight movements and customs procedures.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue quotations for domestic and international freight shipments.
• Coordinate air, sea, and road freight movements worldwide.
• Arrange cargo collections, transportation, consolidation, and delivery.
• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring goods arrive in line with project schedules and customer requirements.
• Manage customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with all import and export regulations.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, documentation, and electronic files.
• Liaise with global offices, suppliers, carriers, and customers throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Update internal systems with shipment tracking, costing, and operational information.
• Resolve logistical challenges and provide proactive communication to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational procedures.
