Job summary

White Recruitment is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder / Logistics Coordinator to join a fast-paced, global team in Whiteley. You will own day-to-day freight forwarding activities and support international projects.

This role requires coordinating shipments by road, sea and air, preparing documentation, and liaising with carriers and customers to ensure on-time delivery. Salary up to £40,000 and private benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding, shipping or international logistics
• Knowledge of import/export procedures
• Experience coordinating shipments by road, sea or air
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Arrange and coordinate international freight movements by road, sea and air
• Manage freight bookings with carriers and logistics partners
• Coordinate import and export shipments from booking to delivery
• Prepare and check shipping and customs documentation
• Ensure compliance with customs and trade requirements
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and overseas partners
• Obtain and review freight quotations to identify cost-effective solutions
• Monitor shipments and provide updates
• Resolve delays and issues in freight process
• Coordinate transport arrangements for project cargo
• Support project logistics and continuous improvement
