Job summary

Oxford Global Resources is seeking a Global Logistics Specialist to support time-critical export and transportation activities within a highly regulated environment. The role involves coordinating international shipments, ensuring customs compliance, and maintaining thorough shipment records.

You will work with customers, carriers, and customs brokers to provide timely updates and resolve issues, while prioritising accuracy, regulatory compliance, and quality in a fast-paced, global setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international air export shipments and domestic transportation activities from end to end.
• Serve as a primary contact for customers, carriers, customs brokers, and international partners.
• Provide shipment updates and proactively resolve operational issues.
• Select appropriate transportation routes while balancing service levels, compliance requirements, and cost efficiency.
• Support customs clearance processes and ensure all import/export documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Create and maintain shipment records, transport documentation, declarations, labels, manifests, and related records.
• Ensure dangerous goods and regulated shipments are handled in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate data within transportation management systems and contribute to operational reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to quality, compliance, health and safety standards.
