Concurrent in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trade Compliance Coordinator to support import/export activities and ensure adherence to UK and international regulations. You will help maintain records, liaise with freight forwarders, and assist with licensing and screening in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative experience in a regulatory/compliance context is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with documentation, data and records.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with business systems or ERP is advantageous.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset for investigating issues and solutions.
• High level of integrity and handling confidential information responsibly.
• Genuine interest in trade compliance and international trade to develop in a specialist function.

Responsibilities

• Support import and export activities with compliant documentation.
• Maintain trade compliance records accurately and store them per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate shipment tracking and resolve delays or documentation issues.
• Update compliance databases and ERP systems with current information.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, carriers and other third parties.
• Assist with export licensing administration and licence record keeping.
• Support screening for restricted parties, sanctions and end-users.
• Assist with audits, inspections and compliance assessments.
• Identify discrepancies or potential risks and elevate to Trade Compliance team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procedures and best practices.
