Job summary

develop in London is seeking an experienced IT Service Transition Manager to join its global IT function. You will own the end-to-end service transition lifecycle, ensuring new and changed IT services are operationally ready from day one.

The role collaborates with project delivery, IT operations, regional teams and external service providers, delivering robust runbooks, support models and governance. The position includes travel and a strong emphasis on governance and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience transitioning projects and services into BAU.
• Experience with MSP environments and outsourced Service Desk models.
• Global or multi-region IT environments experience.
• ITIL and SIAM proficiency desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end service transition lifecycle across delivery, operations, and regional teams.
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure operational readiness.
• Establish runbooks, SOPs and knowledge articles for support.
• Coordinate handover to Service Operations and hypercare as needed.
• Collaborate with MSPs and outsourced service desks.
• Support Change & Release governance and go/no-go decisions.
• Drive continual service improvement and report KPIs to stakeholders.
