Job summary

Big Red Recruitment is seeking a Service Transition Manager to ensure new IT services are ready for go-live, tested, documented, supported and handed over to business as usual. You will investigate recurring incidents, supplier performance and post-live support across IT, suppliers and operations, driving improvements for a reliable technology experience.

You'll combine ITIL and change management practices with strong communication to align stakeholders and deliver consistent service quality

Qualifications

• Experience in IT service management.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service transition.
• Strong communication and collaboration across IT, suppliers and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own service transition and readiness for new and changed IT services.
• Ensure testing, support, documentation, training and handovers are ready before go-live.
• Analyze incidents and user feedback to identify recurring problems.
• Drive continual service improvement rather than just reporting on it.
• Collaborate with suppliers to meet agreed service levels.
• Work with senior stakeholders to find better IT solutions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, optimise and automate services.
• Help ensure a consistent technology experience across multiple sites.
