Job summary
Spirax Group in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is seeking an experienced Global Infrastructure Manager to lead a newly formed Global Infrastructure Operations function. This strategic role drives operational excellence, resilience, and technical governance across a complex global estate and develops a team of Regional Infrastructure Leads.
Travel is required; you will partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to modernise infrastructure, improve operations and deliver strategic
Qualifications
- Experience leading global infrastructure teams.
- Strong governance and risk management capabilities.
- Experience with data centre or co-location migrations and supplier management.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop Regional Infrastructure Leads and the wider global infrastructure team.
- Establish and maintain a consistent global operating model, including governance, standards, ownership and ways of working.
- Oversee the availability, resilience and supportability of on-premise infrastructure including servers, virtualization, storage, backup and hosting environments.
- Drive infrastructure modernisation, estate optimisation and technical debt reduction initiatives.
- Own infrastructure risk, compliance, disaster recovery readiness and audit requirements.
- Lead major incident management and support continuous service improvement through KPIs, SLAs and supplier performance reviews.
