Job summary

Spirax Group in Cheltenham seeks an experienced Global Infrastructure Manager to lead our newly formed Infrastructure Operations function. You will drive operational excellence, resilience, and governance across a complex estate while building and guiding a team of regional leads and professionals.

You will partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to modernise infrastructure, improve operations, manage disaster recovery readiness and deliver strategic transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading regional or global infrastructure teams in a complex enterprise.
• Strong background in infrastructure operations: servers, virtualisation, storage, backup and lifecycle management.
• Experience implementing operating models, governance and service management best practices.
• Experience with data centre or co‑location migrations and supplier management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional and global infrastructure teams.
• Establish a global operating model with governance and standards.
• Oversee availability and resilience of on-premise infrastructure.
• Drive modernisation, estate optimisation and tech debt reduction.
• Own risk, compliance, disaster recovery readiness and audits.
• Lead major incident management and drive continuous service improvement.
• Maintain CMDB, runbooks and run procedures.
• Collaborate with architecture and technology teams on roadmaps.
