Job summary

LM Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Gloucester-based team on-site. You will own and deliver infrastructure projects end-to-end, working with international colleagues to align standards and enhance security and resilience across a growing global IT environment.

Key responsibilities include leading migrations and upgrades, managing networks, servers, virtualization and Azure, and ensuring ISO 27001, GDPR compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in IT infrastructure including networks, servers and virtualization.
• Experience delivering technical projects end-to-end and leading migrations.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver infrastructure projects (migrations, upgrades, rollouts).
• Manage and optimise IT infrastructure across the UK environment.
• Collaborate with global teams to align standards and processes.
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and compliant.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning/testing.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Gloucester (on-site)

Normal working hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-15:00

Salary: £55-£65k

Were looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, with a strong focus on delivering infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of projects end-to-end while also contributing to the ongoing development and support of a global IT environment.

Youll work closely with international colleagues and lead initiatives such as system upgrades, migrations, and improvements to security and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver infrastructure projects (e.g. migrations, upgrades, rollouts)
• Manage and optimise IT infrastructure across the UK environment
• Work with global teams to align standards and processes
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and compliant
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning/testing Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members
• Engage with vendors and manage third-party services.

• Strong experience in IT infrastructure (networks, servers, virtualisation, Azure)
• Proven ability to manage and deliver technical projects
• Good understanding of security and compliance (ISO 27001, CE+, GDPR)
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
• Strong Interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills
