Job summary

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification, technical degree or equivalent experience in an in-situ technical, industrial or maritime environment.
• Experience in service coordination or project coordination is advantageous.
• Experience in maintenance, repair or field service activities.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical service planning.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in English; strong written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP/CRM/service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international in-situ service assignments from request through closure.
• Plan and allocate field service engineers, specialists and subcontractors.
• Act as primary contact for customers, ship owners, shipyards and stakeholders.
• Prepare service projects with scheduling, documentation and logistics.
• Coordinate availability and delivery of spare parts and tools for global activities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure effective communication among teams.
• Create purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely execution.
• Support performance monitoring with KPIs such as utilization and lead times.
• Identify risks and resolve operational issues to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with Wärtsilä safety requirements and ISO processes.
