Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Project Director for a major offshore HVDC project within Grid Solutions. You will oversee execution from tendering to handover, ensure safety, quality, and financial targets, and lead a diverse cross-functional team across engineering, procurement, construction, and controls.

You will manage consortium relationships and ensure on-time delivery and profitable outcomes. The role requires strategic leadership, strong contract and risk management, and ability to travel as

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Experience managing large turnkey projects (>$500M), preferably in T&D, Power or Renewable Energy.
• Operations/Project Portfolio management experience (EPC).
• Experience in Consortium management on large and complex projects.
• Knowledgeable in contract management, negotiation strategies, risk and opportunity management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Execution phase for the GE scope of a large HVDC project.
• Deliver EHS, on-time delivery and financial objectives for the GE scope.
• Lead a multi-cultural cross-functional project team across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and more.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility and budget ownership.
• Develop and implement the overall project execution strategy.
• Represent GE to the customer and manage interfaces and communications.
• Coordinate with consortium partner and governance bodies.
• Monitor KPIs and drive actions to meet performance goals.
