Job summary

Vital Strategies seeks a seasoned Director, Global HR Operations and Compliance to drive consistent, legally compliant HR practices across our global offices. You will lead global HR operations, governance, and employee services while partnering with country directors and legal counsel to mitigate risks and enable rapid workforce expansion.

The role requires deep global HR expertise, strategic guidance, and the ability to balance corporate standards with local legal and cultural realities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business required or equivalent.
• SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD or equivalent preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive HR experience in global operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high-quality global HR operations function with standardized policies and processes.
• Ensure compliance with country laws, donor guidelines, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead global compensation, benefits, and HR governance programs.
• Oversee EORs, HRIS systems, vendor management, and workforce budgeting.
