Job summary

Vital Strategies in the United Kingdom seeks a Director, Global HR Operations & Compliance to lead cross‑border HR programs, compliance, and employee services.

This senior role oversees global HR policies, HRIS governance (UKG), compensation benchmarking, and risk management across multiple countries, with a focus on operational excellence and an inclusive, compliant people practice. UK, Europe, and Africa offices are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is required.
• SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, CIPD or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience with global operations.
• Experience supporting multi-country or global organizations and navigating varying labor laws.
• Experience leading HRIS optimization and data governance, preferably with UKG.
• Experience overseeing compensation and benefits across countries and EOR arrangements.
• Travel up to 10% to international locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead global HR operations with standardized policies, processes, and systems worldwide.
• Balance global standards with local realities across offices and EORs.
• Partner with leaders to ensure HR governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Oversee global compensation, benefits, and HRIS governance.
• Coordinate HR programs with Talent, Finance, Legal, and country teams for budgeting and expansion.
• Ensure training and HR process documentation are accessible and up to date.
