Job summary

En Route International, a global specialist in passenger solutions and supply chain services, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the leadership team. You will partner with the Finance Director to drive governance, control, and strategic financial direction across six legal entities.

You will lead external reporting, consolidate monthly accounts, strengthen internal controls, and oversee treasury functions while developing a high-performing finance team in a dynamic

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Significant experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
• Strong background in financial and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead external financial reporting across the group and its six legal entities.
• Oversee preparation and review of separate and consolidated monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure high-quality monthly management reporting packs are delivered to Group within deadlines.
• Act as the primary Finance lead for internal audit engagements, managing responses and remediation plans.
• Develop, maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies and governance frameworks.
• Lead cash forecasting activities and support liquidity management.
• Manage foreign exchange risk and exposure across the group.
• Oversee global payroll processes, ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements.
• Lead credit risk management activities and mitigate financial exposure.
• Partner with the Finance Director to drive continuous improvement, process optimisation and system enhancements.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Finance team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews, mentoring and development planning.
• Ensure cross-training and succession planning across the team.
• Build strong working relationships across Finance and the wider business.
