Qualifications

• Fully qualified Accountant with a strong track record in financial control and management reporting.
• Minimum 5 years post qualification experience.
• Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Proven ability to analyse and improve systems, processes, and financial strategies.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve governance and control environment.
• Manage month-end reporting, ensuring deadlines and accuracy.
• Prepare comprehensive management packs and executive summaries for the Board.
• Own cash management and forecast processes.
• Produce and review financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure financial controls including PAYE, VAT and payroll are compliant.
• Ensure corporation tax compliance and timely documentation.
• Review purchase ledgers and ensure supplier payments are on time.
• Review debtors ledgers and improve DSO procedures.
• Manage the annual audit process.
• Oversee fixed asset register and HP Portfolio.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for investments.
• Assist FD with funding needs and reporting requirements.
• Investigate IT solutions to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Lead the finance team with mentoring and development.

Education

Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
