Job summary

Freudenberg Flow Technologies in Port Talbot, UK, is seeking a Field Services Coordinator to join our on-site team. You will plan, coordinate and oversee global field service activities, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality customer support.

You will manage mobilisations of technicians, coordinate travel, visas and site access, and maintain accurate cost tracking in SAP. Strong planning, organisation and communication skills are essential to succeed in this demanding role.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, scheduling, coordination or operational support.
• Knowledge of resource planning, travel coordination, and international travel.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Excellent planning and time management, strong communication.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate global Field Service activities.
• Coordinate mobilisation of Field Service Technicians and seconded resources.
• Maintain visibility of technician availability, competencies, certifications, medical requirements, training, holidays, and resource utilisation.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, coordinating service enquiries, mobilisation updates, meetings, and communication between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare Field Service quotations, process customer purchase orders, create SAP sales orders, and raise purchase requisitions.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, visas, work permits, site access, vaccinations, and other international travel and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and distribute mobilisation packs, including relevant safety, security, travel, and site documentation.
• Coordinate tooling and equipment shipments, preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork, and other import/export documentation.Monitor Field Service costs against approved quotations and purchase orders, maintaining accurate trackers for scope status, expenditure, approvals, and invoicing.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of timesheets, expenses, service reports, and supporting documentation, coordinating final cost reconciliation and invoicing with Finance.
• Maintain accurate records across SAP and other business systems, supporting audits and compliance with customer, statutory, and company requirements.
• Contribute to the development of Field Service procedures, work instructions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery, mobilisation efficiency, customer satisfaction, and resource utilisation.
