Job summary

The Sage Group plc is seeking a Global Compensation Advisor to join our Reward team in Newcastle on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will provide expert compensation guidance, support key reward programmes and drive equitable pay decisions that align with business objectives.

The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the Newcastle office and 2 from home. You will collaborate with Reward, People, Finance and HR teams, manage end-to-end compensation cases, and contribute to governance and data

Qualifications

• Experience in compensation, reward, or HR operations.
• Knowledge of job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and governance.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate into recommendations.
• Advanced Excel and handling large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert compensation advice to leaders, People teams and colleagues across the business.
• Manage end-to-end compensation cases, including salary reviews, promotions, pay exceptions and governance activities.
• Evaluate roles using job evaluation methodologies, including Willis Towers Watson frameworks.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver data-driven pay recommendations that balance market competitiveness, internal equity and business needs.
• Support annual reward activities including salary reviews, bonus cycles and Gender Pay Gap reporting.
• Maintain high-quality compensation data through audits, reporting and process controls.
• Complete salary benchmarking surveys and provide compensation insights to stakeholders.
