Job summary

Sage is seeking a Global Compensation Advisor to join our Reward team in Newcastle. You will shape fair, competitive and data-driven pay practices across our global workforce, partnering with Reward, People, Finance and the wider business.

In this 12-month fixed-term role, you’ll manage end-to-end compensation cases, advise leaders, and help deliver salary reviews, gender pay reporting and governance. The role offers hybrid work with 3 days in the Newcastle office.

Qualifications

• Experience in Compensation, Reward, HR Operations or related discipline.
• Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies and salary benchmarking.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert compensation advice to leaders and People teams across the business.
• Manage end-to-end compensation cases, including salary reviews, promotions and governance activities.
• Evaluate roles using established job evaluation and levelling methodologies.
• Partner with business leaders to deliver data-driven pay recommendations balancing market competitiveness and internal equity.
• Support annual reward activities including salary reviews, bonus cycles and gender pay gap reporting.
