Job summary

Sage is seeking a Global Compensation Advisor in Newcastle on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will partner with Reward, People and Finance to provide expert pay guidance, support programmes and drive equitable decisions. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the Newcastle office and 2 from home.

You will influence leaders, manage end-to-end cases, apply job evaluation methods, and contribute to annual reward activities and governance improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Compensation, Reward, HR Operations or People Advisory.
• Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, salary benchmarking and governance.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert compensation advice to leaders and colleagues.
• Escalate complex reward queries and manage end-to-end compensation cases.
• Evaluate roles using job evaluation and levelling methodologies.
• Deliver data-driven pay recommendations balancing market and internal equity.
• Support salary reviews, bonuses and Gender Pay Gap reporting.
• Maintain compensation data with audits and controls.
• Contribute to governance and process improvement initiatives.
• Build relationships with Reward, Payroll, Finance and HRIS teams.
