Job description

Join to apply for the Global Campaign Executive role at Pearson.

Purpose
This role will support the English Language Learning division to build its brand through developing and executing world-leading marketing strategies for its key customer groups. You will gain experience in activating brand and product campaigns at a global or local level and will support the day-to-day activities of the global marketing campaign team. Every day you will strive to put the consumer/customer at the heart of everything we do.

Reporting to the Head of Global Marketing, supporting the Campaign Managers for our Educator and Test Taker audiences, you will use your creative, communication, and organizational skills to help design and develop marketing materials and campaigns.

This is an exciting opportunity for a growing marketing expert to expand their skills set and help build and bring to life the Pearson English Language value proposition both internally and externally.

Location: This is a remote position but there is an expectation to travel to the London office from time to time.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Support Campaign Managers to deliver marketing campaigns supporting our big bets and new product launches, taking ownership of 1-2 workstreams.
  2. Execute daily tasks including creating marketing channel highlights, digital materials, newsletters, emails, presentations, webinars, and events.
  3. Lead campaign kit drops to communicate upcoming product launches and portfolio updates.
  4. Assist in implementing and executing campaign plans across media channels, developing creative assets and messaging.
  5. Support the creation and management of email nurture journeys for educational audiences to drive engagement and sales.
  6. Coordinate participation in big bet events, managing sponsorships, exhibitions, and distribution of marketing materials.
  7. Monitor channel performance against KPIs as the campaign scorecard guru.
  8. Manage purchase orders and own the campaign budget tracker.
  9. Manage approvals of marketing materials.
  10. Distribute marketing materials to global partners and follow up to maximize usage.
  11. Build relationships across marketing groups and with key stakeholders.
  12. Respond to marketing queries proactively.
  13. Lead by example, demonstrating curiosity, collaboration, a positive attitude, and a sense of fun.
Candidate Profile

  • Ideal for recent graduates or those with 1-2 years of marketing experience.
  • Passionate about building brands and developing innovative campaigns, with experience in brand planning, campaign management, and customer insights.
  • Experience in digital or social media is a bonus.
  • Always curious and up-to-date with latest trends.
  • Think digital-first from an omnichannel perspective.
  • Excellent creative and copywriting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; capable of producing high-quality presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Global perspective with cultural agility.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Enthusiastic, passionate, creative, action-oriented with a 'roll-up-your-sleeves' approach.
  • Fluent in English, confident in speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Understanding of the UK & Ireland education market is a bonus.
Education, Qualifications & Training
  • Degree or equivalent; professional marketing qualification is a plus.
  • 1-2 years marketing experience.
