Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics is seeking a Freight Forwarder to join our busy Gateway department at RAF Marham, Kings Lynn. The role focuses on imports, monitoring shipments from inception to delivery, and ensuring adherence to service levels and customs regulations.

You will deliver day-to-day customer service, coordinate with carrier partners, and maintain data quality while supporting the team to meet deadlines and KPIs in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent IT skills and quick learning of new systems.
• Knowledge of CW1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor international freight shipments from inception to delivery, guaranteeing adherence to service level and operational protocols.
• Operate customer service based on day-to-day operations.
• Monitor data quality and live updates.
• Issue documentation including master bills and house bills of lading, ensuring customs compliance.
• Communicate with our network and carrier partners across the globe.
• Day-to-day problem solving and support to the team to meet deadlines and KPIs.
• Assist management with ongoing tasks.
