Job summary

The Ivy Collection in the United Kingdom is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and uphold the high standards of service and hospitality our guests expect.

You will support the smooth operation of the dining room, train staff, and ensure guest needs are anticipated while working closely with the Restaurant Manager.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in restaurant supervision or a similar role.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the seamless running of the restaurant with efficient service.
• Maintain standards and anticipate guest needs.
• Train and develop team members; collaborate with kitchen staff.
• Report to the Restaurant Manager and maintain good team relationships.

Key elements of your role as Restaurant Supervisor will involve supporting the seamless running of the restaurant by providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and guest needs are anticipated. To establish and maintain good working relationships amongst the restaurant team and with the kitchen brigade. To carry out training and development needs within the department and to take appropriate action. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager.

About you: You have at least 1+ years’ experience in this role and are solution-driven, working well under pressure. You pride yourself on your professional approach to service excellence and you are a real team player.
