Cathcart Technology is seeking a Field Services Engineer to support customers across Scotland with remote and on-site IT services. The role involves hardware installations, onboarding, and ongoing maintenance, backed by a remote support team.

You will travel extensively, with expenses reimbursed, and work a 37.5-hour week on a rotating shift. Candidates based in central Scotland with a vehicle are preferred and SC clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support/service desk or MSP.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Intune, and basic networking.
• Eligible for SC clearance.
• Own a vehicle and full UK driving licence.
• Based in central Scotland.
• Travel across Scotland with overnight stays.
• Customer-focused with strong communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1st line IT support remotely and onsite across Scotland.
• Troubleshoot Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Intune, laptops/desktops/mobile devices and printers.
• Support customer sites, hardware deployments, onboarding and upgrades.
• Maintain IT asset records, documentation and service tickets.
• Build relationships and collaborate with internal technical teams.
