German Speaking Customer Support Executive
Permanent, Full Time / Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4pm
Location: Congleton
Salary: £26,000 per annum

A well-established company in the outdoor industry based in Congleton. They specialize in providing high-quality clothing, footwear, and equipment to businesses and organizations. The company focuses on delivering durable, high-performance, and sustainable products for professionals and outdoor enthusiasts.

Established in 2007, they have experienced significant growth and work with some of the biggest and most exclusive brands. They are now looking for a new team member to join as a European Account Executive.

The German Speaking Customer Support Executive will be a motivated, sales-focused individual supporting the German customer base. Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is required; additional European languages are a plus.

Reporting to the EU Business Development Manager, the role involves being the first point of contact for EU customers, providing excellent customer service, responding to sales inquiries, and offering administrative support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via email and phone, including new support requests.
  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to quote requests, and liaising with customers to convert inquiries into sales orders.
  • Driving sales by understanding customer requirements and matching them with available products.
  • Building positive customer relationships to enhance sales and satisfaction.
  • Accurate data entry and maintenance of customer databases.
  • Raising orders, sending proforma invoices, and chasing outstanding payments.
  • Translating documents and assisting with marketing activities as needed.
  • Occasionally attending trade shows in Europe.

Requirements for success:

  • Fluent in German (native level)
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently under deadlines
  • Previous customer service and administrative experience
  • Sales-oriented with attention to detail
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, flexible
  • IT literacy (CRM, MS Office)
