Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer or Senior Geotechnical Engineer for UK and international projects, ideally based in the South East. You will contribute to rail, highways, water, energy, and carbon capture sectors, developing geotechnical capability within a flexible, collaborative team.

You should hold a civil engineering degree with geotechnical expertise, be near or chartered with ICE, and have FE modelling experience using PLAXIS2D/3D.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering with geotechnical focus
• Postgraduate geotechnical qualification and ICE chartered status
• Experience in finite element modelling (PLAXIS2D/3D) and numerical tools

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design teams across projects
• Develop and expand geotechnical capability for diverse sectors
• Support project management and client liaison, ensuring quality and safety
