Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer to lead projects from our Leeds/Manchester/Belfast offices. You will mentor engineers, guide design and build activities, and maintain strong client relationships across infrastructure and energy sectors.

Candidates should be chartered with MSc in geotechnical fields, experience in design and build, and the ability to travel within the UK and overseas. Hybrid working and career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Chartered geotechnical engineer with a proven track record in leadership and project management.
• MSc or equivalent in geotechnical subject; degree in civil engineering or geology.
• Experience in Design and Build environments and working with clients, planning and commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and mentor junior geotechnical engineers.
• Direct design and build activities across infrastructure and energy sectors.
• Liaise with clients to support work-winning delivery and project execution.
• Travel UK/overseas on short assignments; hold a valid UK driving license.
