Amey is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the Consulting Geotechnical Practice, ideally in our International Design Hub but open to candidates in other UK locations. The role supports delivering ground engineering schemes across England and Wales for major clients.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team and mentor junior staff, contributing to bids and ensuring safety and quality in project delivery. This is a permanent position with professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Gaining Chartered or Incorporated status as defined by professional bodies.
• Developed experience and expertise in geotechnical field, demonstrated in an Assistant Engineer or equivalent role.
• Solid working knowledge of geotechnical reporting procedures and design production per applicable standards (EC7, DMRB).

Responsabilités

• Aid in producing technically sound geotechnical solutions.
• Lead specific project deliverables from start to finish.
• Prepare designs, calculations and documentation meeting quality, cost and programme criteria.
• Liaise with client and supplier representatives; attend progress meetings.
• Contribute to bids and business development activities.
• Support health and safety practices within the team.
