Job summary

Amey is inviting graduates to join its Geotechnical Consulting practice across England and Wales, starting with a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer role in the UK's infrastructure sector.

You'll work with National Highways, Network Rail and other clients, supported by mentors, delivering desk studies, ground investigations and design reports on major projects with a mix of office, site and home working. Start date September 2027.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or related subject.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Enthusiastic, willingness to learn and good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Produce desk studies to determine risk and suitable design solutions.
• Plan and supervise ground investigations for geotechnical interventions.
• Carry out geotechnical asset inspections on major infrastructure.
• Propose engineering solutions and perform calculations.
• Prepare specifications, drawings and design reports.
• Deliver multidisciplinary schemes with colleagues across Amey Consulting.
