Job summary

Amey is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Consulting Geotechnical Practice in central Birmingham, with consideration for Manchester or Cardiff. You will support Senior/Principal Engineers on ground engineering schemes across England and Wales, contributing to bid work and Health and Safety practices.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, liaising with clients and delivering technical reports, designs and calculations to time and budget, across local, national and international

Qualifications

Experience in geotechnical field, preferably with Assistant Engineer level.
Knowledge of National Highways standards including EC7, DMRB and MCHW.
Good delivery of technical reports and deliverables.

Responsibilities

Assist Senior/Principal Engineer and lead on specific project deliverables.
Prepare designs, calculations and documentation for scheme deliverables.
Liaise with client and supplier representatives, attend progress meetings.
Contribute to bids and risk management practices.
