Job summary

Amey seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Belfast Consulting Highways team. You will lead a small geotechnical group, delivering technically sound solutions and mentoring junior staff across major civil schemes.

You will own project delivery from quotation to handover, ensuring quality, cost and programme are met while collaborating with clients and stakeholders across local and international projects.

Qualifications

• Chartered or Incorporated status with a recognised engineering body.
• Significant geotechnical field experience in a consultancy or similar setting.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary geotechnical team on projects from start to finish.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings and deliverables to meet quality and cost targets.
• Liaise with clients and suppliers and participate in bid/tender activities.
