AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior / Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant in the UK to lead environmental compliance, EIA and contaminated land projects within the Contaminated Land & Hydrogeology team.

Based in Exeter, Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge, Epsom or London with flexible hybrid working, you will deliver major infrastructure projects across transport, energy, buildings and water sectors while mentoring junior staff and expanding client relationships.

Formación

• Higher education qualification in a relevant engineering or science subject with a good understanding of EIA and consenting.
• Chartered Membership of relevant professional body (or plan to become chartered within 6–12 months).
• Post-graduate consultancy experience with strong technical, people and project management skills.
• Experience and leadership delivering Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Site Investigations, remediation design and verification/validation.
• Commercial awareness including tendering capability.
• Good knowledge of EIA, consenting, contaminated land, materials management and waste regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and deliver environmental work within multi-disciplinary teams (EIA, options appraisals, environmental management and consenting).
• Act as Senior Environmental Manager for rail infrastructure projects when required, with broad environmental compliance oversight.
• Manage projects, budgets, programmes and review others' technical work.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and support their growth.
• Liaise with clients, regulators, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Support senior management in new business development and preparing commercial offers.
• Collaborate with the UK Sustainable Land and Resource Management team across the country.
