Job summary

Trinity Academy Richmond is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the year 3 and 4 team of this caring primary school in Richmond. The role is fixed-term until 31 December 2026, 18.75 hours per week, term-time only.

We are looking for a calm, nurturing person with experience supporting pupils with additional needs, able to support emotional wellbeing, and willing to engage in CPD. You may work across year groups and in collaboration with our Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with additional needs.
• Ability to support pupils' emotional well-being.
• Willing to undertake CPD and coaching within school.
• Confident to use initiative, implement new strategies and take on advice from external agencies.

Contract Type: Fixed term contract to 31.12.26 although there may be the potential for this to be extended.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join this delightful primary school based in Richmond and work alongside a dedicated and hard-working staff team, initially to work as part of the year 3 & 4 team although you may be required to work in other year groups. We require a compassionate and dedicated person to support and inspire our pupils. The person must be committed to inclusion and be someone who can motivate all children to fully achieve in line with our ambitious curriculum.
