Job summary

Warton St Paul's C of E Primary Academy in Preston is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in EYFS. This 30 hours per week, part-time post runs on term-time only and is fixed-term until 31 August 2027.

You will work with the class teacher to deliver learning, coach children in 1:1 or small groups, and help maintain a safe, positive environment that aligns with our Christian values.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Previous childcare experience.
  • A proven ability to work on their own initiative.
  • A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
  • Ability to use relevant technology/equipment.

Teaching Assistant


30 hours per week, Part Time


Fixed Term until 31st August 2027


Term Time Only, 43.89 weeks per year


We have an exciting opportunity for a strong candidate to support teaching and learning at Warton St Paul's C of E Primary Academy. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual who is able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities. The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time in the life of our school and assist in meeting the personal, social and educational needs of our children.


We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, conscientious and creative Teaching Assistant, to join our committed and hardworking staff team, at an exciting time in the life of our school. The post will initially be in EYFS.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:



  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above
