Job summary

Norwood Medical Centre in Sheffield is seeking a motivated practice nurse to join our supportive team. You will complement four current practice nurses and undergo responsibilities including vaccination, chronic disease management and patient education, working within established protocols.

The post is part-time (about 25 hours/week) with pay and hours negotiable based on experience. You will practice in a forward-thinking, community-focused environment dedicated to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RGN Registered Nurse and current NMC registration.
• Degree or Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.
• UK NHS general practice experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality nursing care and treatment alongside GPs or independently.
• Deliver patient education, screening, prevention, and vaccination services under protocols.
• Manage chronic disease care and follow up within practice policy.
• Support women’s health and family planning services.
• Maintain infection control and keep accurate nursing records.
