Job summary

North Shore Surgery is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team in a busy primary care setting. You will work alongside GPs, HCAs and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver a range of services including chronic disease management, vaccinations, wound care, cervical screening and health promotion.

The ideal candidate will be NMC registered, with excellent communication and clinical skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• NMC registered and eligible to practise in the UK.
• Excellent communication and clinical skills.
• Experience in general practice is desirable; transferable skills welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a primary care setting.
• Undertake chronic disease management andmonitoring (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
• Deliver vaccinations and immunisations.
• Carry out cervical cytology screening.
• Provide wound care and dressings; support health promotion and disease prevention.
