Young's Pubs is seeking a creative and entrepreneurial General Manager for its pub in a lively locale. You will be the face of the business, shaping the food-led offer, running events, and ensuring outstanding guest experiences.

With autonomy within a framework, you’ll tailor menus, drive sales, recruit and develop your team, and lead marketing and customer service to grow the business in line with your vision.

Qualifications

• Track record of working with fresh food and delivering guest experiences.
• Experience running a busy pub and hosting events.
• Strong leadership and customer service focus.

We're looking for a General Manager for the Bull in Ditchling. This is the epitome of a Sussex Country pub. Rustic Charm, plenty of nooks and crannies, a sun trap of a garden and 6 bedrooms for customers who want to spend the night. The food is all about fresh seasonal local produce, used to create stunning elevated pub classics and blackboard specials that showcase all that Sussex has to offer.

The perfect candidate has a track record of working with fresh food, is passionate about delivering a great guest experience and has a fantastic operational mind. They will be happy being the face of the business, and as comfortable interacting with the regulars at the bar as they are running food-lead events and a busy Sunday Service.

We're all about freedom within a framework - you decide what goes on the food menu - and that doesn't mean picking from a bank of recipes!
