Job summary

Richmond Primary Academy, part of The David Ross Education Trust, seeks an Estates and Facilities assistant to manage general site duties and assist with preparation and organisation under the site manager. You will help maintain a safe, positive learning environment for students and staff.

The role is 10 hours per week, term-time (39 weeks), with a permanent contract and benefits including a Local Government Pension Scheme and flexible working patterns.

Qualifications

• Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Basic understanding of cleaning and general maintenance.
• Flexible attitude to working hours and ability to work as part of a team to cover absences and Annual leave.
• Reliable, organised and able to follow instructions.
• Good time management skills
• Pro-active with problem solving.

Job description

To carry out general site duties associated within all areas of Estates and Facilities and assist in preparation and organisational needs of the Academy under the general direction of the person in charge of the site.

To support and assist to ensure a safe and positive learning environment is maintained and that all children behave in an appropriate manner.

To provide locking up service at the end of each school day.

10 hours per week, term time 39 week contract. Permanent role.
