Job summary

Humberston Academy is seeking a dedicated individual to join the cover team, supporting students and contributing to a positive learning environment. You will work 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, joining a hardworking, friendly team focused on student welfare and progression.

Qualifications

• Commitment to and or experience of working with children and young people.
• Ability to motivate and encourage children to meet their targets for learning and/or behaviour.
• Ability to show awareness to when it is appropriate to consult teachers about a child's behaviour or learning.
• Understanding of the practical application of Equal Opportunities in a school context.
• Aware of Health and Safety and safeguarding issues.

About our Academy

Humberston Academy is an oversubscribed academylocated in an affluent area of North East Lincolnshire. Ofsted graded theschool outstanding in 'behaviour and attitudes' and 'personal development'.Humberston Academy achieved 'World Class Schools' status in December 2019 andre-accredited in 2022. Humberston Academy continues to deliver incredibleopportunities to young people with a specific focus on STEM enrichment andfavourable links to the apprenticeships industry as well as traditional route towardshigher education.
