Job summary

Bobby Moore Academy in London seeks a dedicated role to support scholars and teachers under the direction of the Assistant Principal of Inclusion. You will contribute to timetabled teaching, planning with staff, and resource management to raise achievement for all pupils, especially those with SEND.

The post is permanent, 37 hours per week for 39 weeks (including 5 INSET days), with access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and wellbeing benefits.

Job description

You will work under the direction of the Assistant Principal of Inclusion to complement teachers' delivery of the national curriculum and contribute to the development of other support staff, scholars, school policies and strategies. This will include undertaking specified timetabled teaching, working collaboratively with teaching staff throughout the planning cycle, and the management and preparation of resources. This role provides support for scholars, teachers and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all scholars, especially those with SEND, by utilising advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing and managing classes, and helping pupils to become independent learners, to provide support for their welfare, and to support the inclusion of scholars in all aspects of school life.
