Job summary

The Richmond Primary Academy, part of The David Ross Education Trust, is seeking a part-time Estates and Facilities Assistant. The role covers general site duties, supporting a safe learning environment, and end-of-day locking up. It is a permanent, term-time position working 10 hours per week across 39 weeks.

Salary is NJC03 with FTE £25,614 per year, pro rata £6,080. Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme and other staff benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Basic understanding of cleaning and general maintenance.
• Flexible attitude to working hours and ability to cover absences and Annual leave.
• Reliable, organised and able to follow instructions.
• Good time management skills.
• Pro-active with problem solving.

Responsibilities

• To carry out general site duties associated within Estates and Facilities.
• To support and assist to ensure a safe and positive learning environment is maintained and that all children behave in an appropriate manner.
• To provide locking up service at the end of each school day.
