Randstad Education seeks a versatile General Cover Secondary Teacher near Newmarket. You will deliver pre-set work across multiple subjects for Key Stage 3 and 4, maintaining high standards of learning and pupil engagement.

With day-to-day or long-term placements, you gain diverse experience while balancing workload and school life. The role requires QTS or QTLS, strong classroom management, broad curriculum knowledge, and a professional, adaptable approach with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (or recognised UK teaching qualification).
• Strong classroom management skills with the confidence to adapt to unfamiliar secondary settings.
• Broad curriculum knowledge across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4; flexible and proactive attitude.
• Adaptable, punctual and professional approach with excellent communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS check registered on Update Service (or willingness to complete one).
