Randstad Education is seeking passionate secondary supply teachers for Norwich and surrounding areas. You will cover Key Stage 3 and 4, with opportunities for long-term placements. The role supports flexible scheduling, ongoing professional development, and collaboration with local schools.

Strong classroom management, subject knowledge, and a valid UK teaching qualification are essential. DBS checks and professional reliability are expected as part of safeguarding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, maintaining high expectations for learning and pupil progress.

• Create a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment using effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.

• Adapt learning delivery to accommodate students with diverse learning styles and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

• Leave clear handover notes for regular class teachers when fulfilling day-to-day cover assignments.

• For long-term roles: plan, assess, and mark work, participate in department meetings, and contribute to parents' evenings as required.

What We Look For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (or recognised UK teaching qualification).

• Strong classroom management skills and the confidence to step into unfamiliar secondary settings with ease.

• Subject knowledge across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in your specialist area (e.g., English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, Creative Arts, PE, etc.).

• An adaptable, punctual, and professional approach with excellent communication skills.

• A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete one).
