Randstad UK is seeking a Qualified Supply Teacher (QTS) to cover day-to-day supply needs in Southampton. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive and safe learning environment, and build strong classroom management.

Enjoy maximum flexibility with the option to select days, standard hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. DBS Update Service preferred; QTS or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Strong behaviour management and authority establishment.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to apply.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Leave detailed handover notes for the regular class teacher.
• Ensure pupils remain on task and complete set work.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
• Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to establish authority quickly.
• High degree of adaptability, enthusiasm, and excellent communication abilities.
• Valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
