Job summary

Randstad UK in Southampton is seeking a qualified supply teacher (QTS) to provide flexible day-to-day cover across local schools.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a structured, positive and safe learning environment, and manage behaviour in line with school policies.

The role offers maximum flexibility with standard hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM and competitive daily pay between £130 and £160 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
• Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to establish authority quickly.
• High degree of adaptability, enthusiasm, and excellent communication abilities.
• Valid Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
