Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our Enterprise track, embedding with our largest customers to turn complex GenAI challenges into production systems. You’ll ship code, run benchmarks, debug deployments, and discuss architecture with executives.

You’ll spend significant time on-site with customers, leading discovery conversations, aligning teams, and translating pain points into concrete improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hands-on, customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong Python skills, production code development.
• Experience with Kubernetes and infra engineering.
• Experience deploying GenAI/LLM models in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end POCs and MVPs with customer teams.
• Architect inference foundations and scalable deployments.
• Run load tests, measure latency and cost baselines.
• Lead discovery conversations and translate pain points to roadmap.
• Spend time on-site with customers to build trust and momentum.
