Job summary

Wonderful is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to translate complex enterprise workflows into practical AI agents deployed at client sites and in production environments. You will embed with enterprise teams, uncover operational value, and build systems that deliver measurable impact.

You will lead projects from discovery through deployment, measuring real-world outcomes and iterating after launch. This role blends deep technical work with customer context, requiring curiosity and ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong foundations in software architecture, system design, and production engineering.
• Experience with APIs, data flows, and distributed systems.
• Ability to bring structure and momentum to ambiguous problems.
• Comfort working directly with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers to understand workflows, constraints, and measures of success.
• Turn loosely defined problems into clear technical plans and production systems.
• Design and build AI agents that integrate with customer tools, data, and business processes.
• Own deployments from prototype through launch, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Test with real‑world data, measure business outcomes, and iterate based on evidence.
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs across architecture, reliability, speed, and user experience.
• Partner closely with Wonderful’s Product and Engineering teams to improve the core platform.
• Turn lessons from deployments into reusable tools and patterns.
