Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking an Applied Machine Learning Engineer to bridge cutting-edge AI research with real-world deployments. You will develop, fine-tune, and operationalize ML models that drive business value and enhance user experiences, while maintaining a strong customer focus.

You will collaborate with GTM teams, build PoCs, design end-to-end AI applications, and contribute to platform features and model enablement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with customer-facing focus.
• Strong Python skills demonstrated in production environments.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver complex technical projects with customer focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GTM team to ensure successful deployment of ML solutions.
• Build and present PoCs showcasing AI capabilities.
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI-powered applications.
• Contribute to the ML platform with new features and bug fixes.
• Integrate and enable new machine learning models in client environments.
• Improve performance and scalability of deployed models and apps.
• Work with partners to enable joint AI solutions.
