Job summary

Nuco Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our established heating and maintenance team covering CH postcodes. You will service domestic heating systems, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

This permanent PAYE role offers a competitive salary with on-call requirements (1 in 4 weeks), a company vehicle, pension and a wide benefits package designed to support ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Valid ACS qualifications CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to diagnose faults and work independently.
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out gas servicing and planned maintenance across domestic properties.
• Diagnosing faults and completing boiler breakdowns and repairs.
• Identifying and resolving heating and hot water issues efficiently.
• Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and relevant industry standards.
• Providing excellent customer service when working with tenants and clients.
• Completing all required paperwork, service records and compliance documentation.
• Updating job progress accurately using electronic systems.
• Participating in the on-call rota, currently 1 in 4 weeks.

Gas Service & Repair Engineer – Wirral

Salary: £35,875 –£42,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Oldham (Covering all CH postcode areas)

Contract: Permanent, PAYE

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with on-call requirements)

On-Call: 1 in 4 weeks

Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays (increases with service)

The Role
