Job summary

Nuco Solutions Ltd in Oldham is seeking a Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our heating and maintenance team covering OL1-0L9. This permanent PAYE role offers a competitive salary (£35,875–£42,000) and excellent benefits, with opportunities for ongoing training and career development.

You will carry out gas servicing and planned maintenance in domestic properties, diagnose faults, and ensure work complies with Gas Safe regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Valid ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to diagnose faults and work independently.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out gas servicing and planned maintenance across domestic properties.
• Diagnose faults and complete boiler breakdowns and repairs.
• Identify and resolve heating and hot water issues.
• Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regs and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and clients.
• Complete service records and compliance documentation.
• Update job progress using electronic systems.
• Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks).

Gas Service & Repair Engineer – Oldham

Salary: £35,875 –£42,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Oldham (Covering OL1-0L9 postcode areas)

Contract: Permanent, PAYE

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with on-call requirements)

On-Call: 1 in 4 weeks

Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays (increases with service)

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join an established heating and maintenance team covering OL1-0L9 areas.

• Carrying out gas servicing and planned maintenance across domestic properties.
• Diagnosing faults and completing boiler breakdowns and repairs.

• Providing excellent customer service when working with tenants and clients.
• Completing all required paperwork, service records and compliance documentation.
