Job summary

Nuco Solutions Ltd in Bolton is seeking an experienced Gas Service & Repair Engineer to service and maintain domestic heating systems across multiple postcode areas. The role covers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call requirements and a 1 in 4 rota.

A permanent PAYE position with a competitive package is offered. You will ensure safe, efficient operation of boilers and hot water systems, deliver high standards of customer service, and complete all paperwork and compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out gas servicing and planned maintenance across domestic properties.
• Diagnosing faults and completing boiler breakdowns and repairs.
• Identifying and resolving heating and hot water issues efficiently.
• Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and relevant industry standards.
• Providing excellent customer service when working with tenants and clients.
• Completing all required paperwork, service records and compliance documentation.
• Updating job progress accurately using electronic systems.
• Participating in the on-call rota, currently 1 in 4 weeks.

Gas Service & Repair Engineer – Bolton

Salary: £35,875 –£42,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Bolton (Covering all BL0, BL1, BL2, BL3, BL4, BL5, BL8, BL9, M25, M26, M45 postcode areas)

Contract: Permanent, PAYE

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with on-call requirements)

On-Call: 1 in 4 weeks

Holiday: 20 days plus bank holidays (increases with service)

• Valid ACS qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1.

• Ability to diagnose faults and work independently.
